Chassis: Solid board of high pressure and anti-humidity MDF. Painted with bi component epoxy paint of high resistance.

Front Panel: 100% Russian Birch, 3mm.

Tuning System: Direct Tuning System (DTS) with two parallel guitar strings localised vertically and tuneable from outside the Cajon without the need for keys or other tools.

Based near Cordoba in Moorish Spain, Pepe Leiva produces instruments for the traditional Spanish Cajon market as well as for the Celtic and Rock Blues Country music-influenced Western players. We have chosen to represent Leiva in the UK because the cheaper-end models sound substantially better than their price suggests and the top-end instruments are truly innovative and professional.
