Pre-Owned

The Fender MIJ Stratocaster was made during the sell out of Fender Fullerton, while waiting for Corona Plant to be built. These guitars where made at the Fugi-gen Gakki Plant in Japan for Fender to fill the need of guitars in the USA. Unbeknownst to Fender that these would be the finest Fenders made until that time.

Instrument Condition

Overall condition- Very Good

This guitar is pre loved and therefore shows some visible cosmetic wear.

Body: The guitars body has undergone some noticeable cosmetic damage consisting of some scratches and minor dings none of which interfere with the playability of the instrument in any way. The most significant markings can be seen in the photos located above.

Neck: The neck has sustained some minor dinks from general playwear but they are not deep enough to be noticed when playing.

Headstock: The headstock is in near perfect condition. There is a few scratches on the top end which can be seen in the photo above. The front and back side show very little sign of wear. The machine heads are smoothly functioning.

The guitar feels great to play and has an amazing tone. The electronics are in great condition with no indication of crackling.  Please feel free to contact us if you are after more information about the guitar are require photos from different angles.

Playing condition:

The guitar has been restrung with a new set of Roto Pinks (9 42) by Rotosound and has had a thorough check over by our technician. It has a super low action with great intonation. The frets show no significant sign of wear and still have plenty of life left in them. It looks like the guitar has undergone a fret dress fairly recently, keeping the playing standard to the best it can be. The Neck feels great to play making it effortless to navigate your way around the fingerboard.
